Description

This project served as my graduation thesis and aimed to answer the following research question: Are current mixed reality technologies capable of generating smoke to aid in fire prevention and BHV training, as perceived by firefighters?

During the project, I developed an application that simulates smoke within a mixed-reality environment, incorporating elements from the physical room itself. This application is designed for the new Meta Quest 3 and utilises the recently released Depth API on the headset. Additionally, the application features a countdown timer that resets the simulation once it reaches zero.
